Ambassador Naim’s talk is entitled, The Behind the Scenes Story of Operation Solomon: The Exodus of Ethiopian Jews to Israel -then and now
Ambassador Naim is a retired member of Israel ’s Foreign Ministry. He served as Israel ’s Ambassador to Ethiopia in the 90s and oversaw Operation Solomon, the daring and miraculous airlift of thousands of Falashas to Israel . He also represented Israel at the UN to address the “Zionism equals Racism” issue, succeeding in the repeal of this infamous resolution.
