Class Description:
This course examines an overview of the history of the conflict from the beginning of the Zionist movement to the present and will explore in depth the 1948 and 1967 wars, the Palestinian refugee problem, Jewish settlements, the Oslo peace process and its collapse, terrorism, the Israeli disengagement from Gaza and the emergence of Hamas.
