Class Description:
Paul Liptz teaches at Tel Aviv University in the Department of Middle East and African History. He also has taught for over 15 years at the Jerusalem campus of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, lecturing in modern Jewish history, Israeli society, and politics of the Middle East. Professor Liptz was born in Zimbabwe, formerly known as Rhodesia, the grandson of a very early Jewish pioneer family.
