Class Description:
his group, in its fourth year, is a monthly gathering of women at members’ homes. Nashim Beyachad will be meeting on January 10th to introduce Menu for the Future, one of Northwest Earth Institute’s discussion courses. The talk will focus on the Most Good, Least Harm (MOGO) principle and will introduce concepts of sustainable living, organic foods and the connection between our food choices and Judaism. The presentation will be interactive and resources will be provided. Our guest speaker for the evening is Daniella Dennenberg. She is the first student in the United States to have graduated with an M.Ed. in Humane Education. Dennenberg is currently Director of Higher Education and Organizational Partnerships for the NWEI, a sustainability non-profit organization in Portland. We are really looking forward to having her join us.
