Class Description:
Alan Berg will lead our exploration of alternate possibilities and imaginings of Jewish and Zionist history. Selections from Amy Dockser Marcus' “Jerusalem 1913,” a modern scholarly look at a pivotal year for Palestinian Jewry, will be compared to Michael Chabon's “The Yiddish Policeman's Union” and Phillip Roth's “The Plot Against America.” Register by Sept. 27 and receive reading selections.
